You can help students have amazing learning experiences.

Fun and educational field trips take students to a world beyond the classroom.  Participation in field trips creates memorable experiences that are fundamental to learning and last well beyond the trip.  What is learned on these trips creates new realizations about our world both in the past and the future.

Trips to the Andy Griffith Playhouse, the Mount Airy Museum of Regional History, the Historic Earle Theatre, and the Surry County Schools Science Institute brings the arts, history, science, and technology to life.  That’s why these encounters for every child are so important!  They connect us with who we are and what we may become.

In 2024, more than 132 field trips were provided for students, totaling over $8,415 in funding.
