Good Evening Ravens!
This is your principal, Molly Anderson.
We will have a Restaurant Night at Coach’s in Mount Airy on Wednesday, September 25th. Please make sure to mention that you are there to support Pilot Mountain Middle School so we can credit for your meal. Looking ahead, we will have picture retakes on Friday, October 4th. If your child was absent on the original date of pictures, it is important they have their picture taken so we have a photo for the yearbook.
Thank you, and have a great evening.

This week, the sixth grade staff at PMMS would like to recognize our Soaring Raven for the week of September 16 -20. Cheyene consistently demonstrates kindness and respect in our classrooms. She always goes out of her way to help classmates and lend a listening ear. She treats everyone with kindness and consideration, creating a positive atmosphere in our school. Whether it's offering a kind word or just a smile on her face, her actions embody the spirit of respect and inclusion. We appreciate Cheyene being a role model for others and reminding us of the importance of kindness. Congratulations, Cheyene! You make a school a better place!

Pilot Mountain Middle School celebrated Blue Week last week; a vibrant celebration rooted in the continued growth and success of the school. This special week is dedicated to fostering school spirit, and a sense of pride in the achievements of both students and staff. Blue Week featured a variety of surprises for staff, all designed to highlight the school's commitment to excellence. A huge thank you to Eagle Carports for helping to sponsor our Blue Week by purchasing sweatshirts for the staff!

Mrs. Dalton's 6th-grade social studies class is buzzing with excitement as students dive into hands-on learning about Ancient Egypt! The room feels like a time machine as students take on the role of ancient embalmers, mummifying tomatoes with precision. To top it off, they’ve been busy mastering the art of writing their names in intricate hieroglyphics. This interactive journey through history has truly brought the wonders of Ancient Egypt to life, and the students are loving every minute of it!
