Pilot Mountain Middle School is extremely proud to announce that we exceeded growth for the 2022/23 school year. The growth index score must be at least 2.0 or higher to exceed growth and PMMS had a score of 7.09. This growth score places PMMS within the top 5% of growth in the state among all schools. In addition, our school performance composite score is 75, which designates PMMS as a B school.
This is a huge accomplishment, so we are extremely proud of our students and staff. Go Ravens!

In Mrs. Dalton's social studies class, the students finished their study of Ancient Mesopotamia by trying their hand at being a scribe. The students had the opportunity to take NC red dirt, turn it into clay, and form it into a tablet. They then had to use cuneiform to etch their first name into their clay tablet. They quickly learned how grateful they were to use pencils and paper.

Seventh-grade Raven Parker Killian is pictured in this month's Yadkin Valley magazine. Check out the recipe for Ice Cream muffins and our very own Parker!
Way to go Parker!
