2024 Summer STEMmersion Program
The STEMmersion Externship Program provides teachers in Surry County Schools the opportunity to spend time in local businesses learning how science, technology, engineering, and math concepts are applied in real-world situations. Teachers then take what they’ve learned back to the classroom and incorporate this knowledge into lesson plans.
11th Annual MAD Dash 5K, April 27, 2024
The 11th Annual MAD Dash 5K on April 27, 2024, saw over 450 participants race through Dobson, NC, in support of Surry County Schools students and teachers.
2024 Enhanced Learning Mini-Grant Program
