In March, our school took on the 1 Million Word Challenge, and our students did an amazing job! Throughout the month, students read books and took ReadNQuiz to help track their progress. Thanks to their hard work, we didn’t just reach our goal—we surpassed it with 5,007,844 words read! The challenge brought excitement to classrooms, encouraged new reading habits, and showed what we can accomplish together.
The Top Reader in the entire school was Alley Chilton with 685,098 words read. Mr. Boyles’ 4th-grade class was the top-performing class with 3,016,725 words read. Ms. Lowman’s 3rd-grade class had the highest pass rate, with 77.9% of the tests taken passed. For their hard work and exceeding their goal, all students earned a popsicle party and extra recess
