Maggie Kilby Recognized as Student Leader of the Quarter

Each quarter principals are asked to select a student who best represents our school as a leader. Once the nominees are submitted Surry County Schools will choose a recipient to be recognized. On November 4th, 2024 Surry County School Board recognized Maggie Kilby as the Elementary School Leader of the Quarter. Maggie Kilby is a first-grade student at Westfield Elementary School. “Even at such a young age, Maggie displays leadership qualities that inspire both her classmates and teachers. She is a confident, hard-working student who encourages those around her and truly cares about others' feelings. Maggie’s kind heart and positive attitude make her a shining example of what it means to be a leader.” stated Mr. Sheets at the Surry County Schools Board Meeting Monday evening. We are both proud and honored to call Maggie a Westfield Wildcat. Congratulations to Maggie and all the Leaders for Surry County Schools.
