Our 5th grade students went on a trip to the Charlotte Motor Speedway! They built model cars, that the kids got to race. They took the students down to the race track to see the race cars, followed by an exciting ride around the race track. It was a great day!
Mr. Pell and Mrs. Varney and our Principal DJ Sheets, along with the entire class of
fifth-grade students would like to publically acknowledge and thank two special donors who provided funding for the trip to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Through the generosity of Whitney Cooke/The Addition and Jeana Cox/Sonya Ganyard Realty, all students were able to attend the trip free of charge. We appreciate these special ladies for making this wonderful opportunity a reality for our students.
