YES Curry Competition

On Friday, April 26th, Surry Early College High School of Design student Lillian Thomas competed in the SECHSD YES Surry Entrepreneurship competition. This competition allows young entrepreneurs to compete for prize money that will be invested into their business projects. Lillian was the first-place winner and received five hundred dollars to help fund her acrylic keychain business Lillindoodle. Lillian uses her own artwork to design her acrylic keychains. She will move on to participate in the county-wide competition which will be held at the Surry Community College Elkin Center.
