The members of the Shoals Elementary School robotics team had a fantastic opportunity to visit FANUC in Huntersville.
FANUC is the global leader in CNC systems, robotics, and ROBOMACHINES with over 40 million products installed worldwide. Students learned how and where some of these robots are used. They also had the opportunity to have hands on experience with several robots in the robotics lab. The favorite robots of the day were a claw machine type robot, the lanyard robot and the fist bump candy robot. Students were so excited to see a career using robotics and were very interested in researching which degrees are required in this field.
