Steve Troxler poses with SCHS FFA

Surry Central High School’s Future Farmers of America (FFA) Officers recently participated in a networking event designed to connect local farmers and industry leaders in Surry County. The officers had the privilege of leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the gathering, followed by a luncheon where they had the opportunity to meet and speak with Steve Troxler, North Carolina's Commissioner of Agriculture.

This event provided the students with valuable insight into the agricultural industry and allowed them to engage with influential figures in the community. Surry County Schools is proud to support programs like FFA that foster leadership and prepare students for success in their future careers.
