April is National Bilingual/Multilingual Learner Advocacy Month. This is a time dedicated to recognizing the rich linguistic diversity that bilingual and multilingual individuals bring to our communities, schools, and workplaces. Mrs. Day’s classroom has learned all about the benefits of being bilingual! Students celebrate their linguistic diversity through a collaborative project. These young scholars are not only showcasing the richness of their linguistic heritage but also fostering a culture of inclusivity and understanding.
The project, aptly named "Being Bi-lingual is My SuperPower" underscores the value of speaking more than one language. From English to Spanish and beyond, these students are showcasing the beauty and importance of linguistic diversity.
Students remain steadfast in their commitment to promoting the positives of speaking more than one language. Through their creativity, passion, and determination, they are building bridges across languages and cultures, paving the way for a more inclusive and interconnected world.
