Rockford Elementary hosted a successful blood drive, rallying students, teachers, and local residents to donate blood for those in need. The event, held on Monday, March 25th, not only showcased the compassion of young children but also served as a powerful reminder of the impact small gestures can have on saving lives.
The blood drive saw an impressive turnout, with 44 pints of blood collected throughout the day, surpassing our goal of 36. Organizers expressed their gratitude to all participants and volunteers, emphasizing the tangible impact their contributions would have on those in need of life-saving transfusions. A huge thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Creed, our school nurse, who set up and ran the event.
