The sixth-grade staff would like to recognize our Student of the Week for February 5 - 9, Jaelyn Leonides. Jaelyn's dedication, hard work, and positive attitude have not gone unnoticed. She consistently demonstrates a strong work ethic and outstanding character traits. She is kind to others and leads by example. Although she is typically quiet in the classroom, we know that she has a lot of valuable knowledge to share with the world and we are proud to recognize her as this week's Student of the Week. I would like to wish Emily Spencer the best of luck as she represents Pilot Mountain Middle School in the countywide spelling bee on Thursday, February 8th. The annual PTO Port-a-Pit Chicken Fundraiser will take place on March 21st. If you are willing to volunteer, please call the front office. We also need individually pre-packaged desserts for the fundraiser for anyone that would like to donate. If your child plans to try out for a spring sport, they must have a current physical and all information completed in Dragonfly by February 12th.
