Happy New Year, Greyhounds! This is Paige Badgett, principal of North Surry High School with your Hound Updates.
I hope that you enjoyed your Christmas break and are ready for the 2024 Spring Semester. We had a great fall semester! The faculty and staff are excited that students will be back on campus tomorrow, Wednesday, January 3rd. We look forward to working with you and your students this upcoming semester.
The school day begins at 7:45 am. Students may be dropped off at school at 7:00 am. Students will report to their homeroom teacher at 7:45 am tomorrow morning to receive a fresh copy of their schedule. We will dismiss homeroom on a bell for students to report to their first period. The end of the school day is 3:00 pm. Students will be dismissed from school at 3:00 pm.
Dr. Reeves is scheduled to come to NSHS on Thursday, January 4th for “Lunch with the Superintendent.” Dr. Reeves will want be meeting with our Safe Promise Club students and sponsors.
The Child and Nutrition staff will be giving out a cookie to all students on campus that day from Dr. Reeves.
