Good morning. This is Paige Badgett, principal of North Surry High School. I want to let you know that our school participated in a Practice Lockdown Drill this morning in cooperation with the Surry County Sheriff's Office.  We are very proud of our students and staff because they responded quickly and did a great job with the practice procedures.  Student safety is the highest priority for Surry County Schools and the Surry County Sheriff’s Office, and we are all working diligently everyday to ensure the safety of children.
