Good Evening Mountaineers! This is your principal Matt Scott with this week’s updates.
Tomorrow is Field Day. Please send your students with a change of clothes, including shoes, and a towel. Students can also wear hats and sunglasses and a swimsuit under their clothes. Sunscreen will need to be applied at home as we cannot do that at school. Tuesday is awards day. The times are varied throughout the day so that if you have multiple students here, you can attend all your children’s awards celebrations. Those grade-level times have been communicated through your classroom communication as well as posted to our Facebook page. On Wednesday, our 5th graders will take their annual bowling field trip to celebrate their time here at Mountain Park together. Thursday we will host a promotion ceremony for our 5th graders at 9:00. We will dismiss school at 11:00 on Thursday.
We had a yearbook reveal and celebration on Friday. We passed out yearbooks to all the students who were present and purchased a yearbook. We have a few extra yearbooks that we will sell beginning Tuesday morning at 7:30. We will ONLY sell these in person and on a first come first served basis.
There is a new federal program to help provide food for families during the summer. Please take a look at the informational flyer on our Facebook page.
Those are all the announcements for tonight. I look forward to seeing our Mountaineers back on campus tomorrow.

Summer Athletic Camp registration is happening now! Please see the attached flyer for camp dates and grade spans. 🏀🏈🎾

As a little motivation for our 3-5 students we are going to have motivational dress up days. We are hoping that when students see everyone dressed up they are reminded how loved they are and to do their best! The clothing should be simple and non-distracting for the students. All grade levels are encouraged to participate.

They were greeted with cheers, high-fives, and smiles as they walked the halls where their educational journey began. It's a beautiful reminder of how far they've come and the bright futures ahead.
