Second grade students participated in a “Road Trip Rescue” breakout edu during Media. They had to solve the clues to open the locks! All groups were able to break out! 🔐

Mrs. King’s Kindergarten class discussed objects that go up in the air during Media! They listened to the story, A Great Day For Up by Dr Seuss. They wrote their favorite object on a hot air balloon! ✏💙🐲📚

Did you know our 4th and 5th graders participated in an awesome reading challenge!?
The READbowl is a reading challenge through the Share the Magic Foundation started by Malcom Mitchell. It is 4 weeks of reading as much as you can, following the timeline of the super bowl. Every week (or quarter, as the program calls it) a new winner is named. Those winners get shout outs from real NFL players on live streams. We even got exclusive access to a video made by Usher, just for the participants of the READbowl. Our fifth grade class's highest score was 55,458 minutes read in one week!
