Dobson Elementary School recently held a fundraiser for its art program — Paint the Night Away.
Students, their families, and many community members purchased tickets in advance to spend the night painting a canvas with the guidance of Art Teacher Melissa Simpson. Folks were also served hot chocolate and given the opportunity to purchase “fairy hair” from a local business.
“This event was a great success and everyone who participated was able to showcase their creativity,” school officials said.
