Students in the Dobson Elementary School Choir recently had the opportunity to audition for the North Carolina Elementary Honors Chorus Program.
Laila Ayers, a student in fourth grade, and Buffy Dowd, a student in fifth grade, were both accepted into the choir.
Laila, Buffy, and Music Instructor Emily Edwards traveled to NC Elementary Honors Chorus at the Sevens Center in downtown Winston-Salem. They performed alongside other students from across the state.
