Meadowview Magnet Middle Student Wins Surry County Schools’ 2024 Spelling Bee

Dobson, NC — The Surry County School System hosted the 2024 spelling bee on February 8, 2024, at Surry County Services Center. Mrs. Ashley Mills pronounced the words in the championship bee. Mrs. Mills is the Managing Director of the Surry County Schools Educational Foundation.

Kynlee Venable won the championship bee in the 6th round. Kynlee will compete with approximately three dozen other student spellers from northwest North Carolina at the Carolina Panthers Regional Spelling Bee at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.
