Welcome to Surry County Schools!

Surry County Schools is a leading educational institution nestled in the picturesque landscape of Surry County, North Carolina. With a rich history and a strong commitment to designing dreams and growing leaders, our district has been dedicated to nurturing the minds of students and inspiring them to reach their full potential for nearly 140 years.

Our twenty schools are a great source of community pride with eleven elementary schools, three traditional middle schools, one magnet middle school, three traditional high schools, one early college high school, and one online magnet school.  Our twelve Pre-Kindergarten classrooms maintain a 5-star license.
