Surry Early College High School is a unique opportunity for highly motivated students in Surry County to offer students the opportunity to earn a 2-year Associate degree with Surry Community College at the same time as they earn their high school diploma. This is all at no cost to the family! Whether your student is interested in transferring to a 4-year college or university or is interested in pursuing work immediately after high school, SECHS has a degree for you!
SECHS offers small class sizes, innovative practices, strong support for success in college classes, and a family environment. Our students explore a wide variety of career and college options in their time at SECHS through college visits and Surry Community College Applied programs.
Students are traditionally admitted through an application process as rising freshmen. We do allow rising sophomores to apply as well.
