The J. Sam Gentry Middle School Improvement Plan will guide our efforts to provide opportunities to support learning. The framework of the School Improvement Plan will ensure that all elements associated with the North Carolina goals, the District goals and the school's goals will be of the highest quality and consistent with 21st century learning. The Plan is designed to produce globally competitive, healthy and responsible students, led by innovative, 21st century professionals and governed by the 21st century systems. 

We are committed to educating all students to be productive workers, responsible citizens, and life-long learners, enabling them to be globally competitive and prepared for life in the 21st Century.
