Facilities

Gentry Middle School consists of 32 classrooms, 4 computer labs, media center, health and wellness gym, gymnasium, cafeteria, guidance office, nurse's office, and administrative offices.  The external grounds include staff and visitor parking, bus lot, tennis courts, and athletic fields.  

Directions to the school:

From 52 north, take NC-89 exit toward I-77/Mount Airy/Galax.  Turn left onto NC-89/West Pine Street.  From 52 south, turn right onto NC-89. Continue to follow NC-89.  Gentry Middle School is 2.2 miles on NC-89 on the left, before getting to North Surry High School on the right.

From I-77, take NC-89, exit 100, toward Mount Airy/Galax.  Turn onto NC-89 East.  Gentry Middle School is 5.3 miles on NC-89 on the right, past North Surry High School on the left.
