Welcome to East Surry High School

Our school is located in the beautiful town of Pilot Mountain, North Carolina.  Breath-taking landscapes, rolling hills, and the pinnacle of "Pilot Mountain" make the location of our school one of the most unique in Surry County and northwestern North Carolina. 

We are committed to providing a safe, caring, nurturing, and rigorous learning environment for all students to acquire skills necessary to become productive citizens in the 21st century global society.  Our school was recently awarded the 2008 NC Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development Lighthouse School Award, the 2008 U.S. News and World Report Bronze Medal Award, and the 2007-2008 NC ABCs "School of Distinction" Award.
